The 2018 Honor Walk was a success and we truly enjoyed presenting a check in support of Heroes Night Out and the Wilco Blue Star Mothers!! We really appreciate everything they do support our military and their families!

A Special Event to Honor those who serve:
Honor Walk
The Georgetown Sertoma Club is participating in this years Field Of Honor® event hosted by the Georgetown Rotary Clubs, as part of our National Heritage projects.
The Field of Honor® began in 2017 with a display of 1400 American Flags and is expected to reach over 1700 Flags this year.
The Honor Walk is being hosted by Sertoma in conjunction with Heroes Night out and the Wilco Blue Star and Gold Star Mom’s of America during the week of activities. The purpose of this Walk is to recognize those Veterans and First Responders who serve in harms way to keep us safe and free.
Date: Saturday, November 10th 2018
Time: Registration – 8:00am
Event – 8:30am – 10:30am
Location: The Cypress Pavilion in San Gabriel Park (walking along the path of the N San Gabriel River)
The Walk will be a 5k with water stops along the way (playground and restrooms nearby) and walkers will be given the opportunity to announce the name of the Veteran or First Responder they are walking to honor. The walk will end at the Field of Honor®.
The cost of this event is $10 and will be collected the day of the event.
